• Why does Doctranslate sometimes cut words in pieces with Office word?
  

because MS Word remembers all changes made and therefore retains traces in its internal structure. It is very difficult to translate and keep intact the presentation. In such cases it is necessary to copy and paste the relevant areas in a block.

• Why Doctranslate suddenly does not work any more with Google ?
  

Main reason:

1. Google probably has changed its interface. Download, install and try with lastest version of DocTranslate. If it’s still does not work, please send to contact@doctranslate.net a file that failed (ppt or doc). We will fix the issue as soon as possible.

• Why does Doctranslate work with ppt files but not with word files?
  

Try to parameter an other temporary file in the “Advanced” Tab.

• Why does my license number fail ?
  

2 main reasons:

• You don’t have any internet access during license registration.
• You have an internet proxy. You should have a direct internet access.

• Which components do i need to run DocTranslate tool ?

You must have Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 on Windows XP, Vista or W7. it will be automatically download on installation. You must also have Microsoft Office 2003, 2007 or 2010 installed.

• Is Doctranslate tool free of charge ?

No. But you can download, install freely for testing before buying DocTranslate. After payment of Doctranslate, you will receive a mail with a valid and illimited License number for One computer. Before validating your license number, if you click “Cancel” in the license window, the software then works in demo mode (only translation of the first slide of powerpoint presentations, faster mode (Office 2007 and 2010) is disable too).

• How to have a file specific persistant Improvement database (version >= V1.2.0.0)?

You must declare a specific directory before translating and improve your file. Be aware that the latest directory declared will be the default one on next DocTranslate start.

This bug has been corrected since version 1.2.0.1.

• Why does DocTranslate seem not work any more ?
  

Maybe your version is old (before V1.2.0.2) and as the google translation API has changed, you must download and install the latest version of Doctranslate. If it still doesn’t work, send us a mail please with an example of file which can’t be translated

• Why does DosTranslate stop in the middle of process with large files ?
  

Try to change (version V1.2.0.2 and more) the temporary directory in the advanced tab.

• Why Doctranslate is very slow for word document?

I think you have V1.1.0.0 beta version of DocTranslate. Download a more recent version here, Word translation is really fast with recent versions.

• Why Do i have Exception from HRESULT: 0×8002000B (DISP_E_BDINDEX)) bug in tranlating process?
  

You must have version V1.1.0.2 or more to fix this bug
